Vita has a range of policies and procedures in place that support our commitment to good governance, accountability and transparency and ensure that we operate with integrity and respect towards all our stakeholders.

Legal, Regulatory, and statutory commitments

Vita is registered with the Charities Regulator in Ireland (RCN: 20024192). In addition to this, Vita has achieved the Charities Institute ‘Triple Lock’ standard which confirms Vita’s governance across three key areas:

Ethical Fundraising

Vita’s Board has adopted the Guidelines for Charitable Organisations on Fundraising from the Public’.

Staff and volunteers are fully trained on these requirements.

Annual & Financial Reporting

Vita prepares its annual Financial Statements in compliance with the Charity SORP FRS102 and are available to the public on our website.


Vita’s Board has formally adopted the Charities Regulator’s Charities Governance Code’. Vita complies with the six principles of the Code and meets the core and additional standards for a charity of our size.
