Be a key part of the Vita programme team in Dublin, ensuring the effective control and management of all administration aspects of the programme function such that Vita can deliver most effectively to communities in Ethiopia and Eritrea.

Reporting to the Head of Programmes, the successful candidate will be expected

  • To coordinate and manage all procurement required by the Vita projects in line with Vita procurement and donor guidelines
  • To collate quarterly programme data from both countries for use as a Vita management tool and for reporting to the Vita programme sub committee
  • To ensure project progress reports are submitted by the country office on a quarterly basis and review reports before sharing with Vita agri-business stakeholders
  • To manage logistics related to trips to countries by Vita staff and for visitors or students coming to Ireland
  • To update the Vita programme-fundraising platform on Salesforce –: The candidate will be required to use and update Salesforce as part of their routine duties
  • To liaise with some key Vita funding partners
  • Contribute to the development of proposals and reports to meet micro-grant deadlines as part of the programme team
  • To support the Vita CEO with administrative support related to new initiatives;
  • To attend weekly programme and fundraising meetings
  • To coordinate scheduling of regular virtual meetings with Vita country offices and draft meeting minutes and agreed actions
  • To work with Vita finance to ensure timely payment of invoices to Vita development partners and consultants in line with agreed contracts
